Family Portrait Session in Wenatchee with Mistie and Bryan
A couple months or so ago my friend Mistie, an incredible wedding photographer in Wenatchee, asked me to be a second shooter for her for a wedding this weekend and I agreed and was really excited to work with her again. She rented a full frame camera for me to use at the wedding but.. unfortunately the wedding was called off. I wanted to get some practice using a full frame camera, and we had it all weekend so we decided to make the best of a bad situation and take some family portraits for Mistie and her family.
Mistie takes photos of families all the time and it was a really great opportunity for me to get some practice and learn from a pro. Playing with a full frame camera has absolutely solidified my need to upgrade my own camera, and hopefully this year I can make that happen. I would love to continue photographing families and couples and I have shied away from doing so for a long time because i know my camera doesn’t yield the results I know I could get if I were to upgrade.
Anyway, here are some of my favorite photos I got of Mistie and her family during our family portrait session in Wenatchee this weekend. I really love them so much.
