Matt & Kelly Vegas Elopement
This was a very special occasion for me. I don’t have much family to speak of, at least family that I actually have a relationship with. When my brother Matt messaged me and told me he had asked his long term girlfriend, Kelly, to marry him, I was so happy for him that I broke down on my kitchen floor and cried for a solid hour. I couldn’t have been more excited, and proud of him. Our family is an incredibly tumultuous world, and for something good to finally happen, well, I was overcome with emotions and couldn’t hold back.
Matt is one of the good ones. He takes care of Kelly in ways I’ve always wanted to be taken care of. He listens to her, respects her, provides for her, and is so willing to try new things to show that he cares about the things she cares about. And at the same time, Kelly has given him stability, deep love, and a sense of real family that’s so beautiful to witness that I could cry right now just thinking about it. These two couldn’t have been more made for each other, and I love them both SO much.
Matt and Kelly, I truly wish you both a lifetime of happiness together. You both deserve nothing but good things to happen, and I am so grateful to be a part of your family, and to be able to be a part of your story together. Your Vegas elopement was so perfect, and has been one of the best highlights of my life.
